4th Grade Supply List for 2017-18

Hi, 4th Graders and Parents!
I hope you’re having a great summer! 🙂  Believe it or not, “Back to School” sales fliers will be out soon!  As you are out and about, you may want to start watching for deals on the following school supplies:  

Items that are required:

A pair of gym shoes – they do not need to be new, just clean.

A backpack or tote to carry your belongings

Items that are highly recommended:

5 folders with pockets – a different color for each subject will be helpful.

3 or 4 wide ruled composition books

A pencil box

Pencils, pens, and highlighters

1 or 2 packs of sticky notes

Fine tip dry erase markers

Items that are optional:

Glue stick(s)

Scissors

Colored pencils

School Supplies

I hope you are enjoying your summer!  It’s amazing how quickly the time is passing, which means school will be here before we know it.  I am REALLY looking forward to our time together this school year!  🙂

The sales flyers this week were a reminder that it is not too early to begin shopping for 2011-12 school supplies.  Here is a list of suggested items which you will find helpful in our 4th grade classroom:

• Large backpack or tote bag

• Plastic pencil box for desk supplies

• #2 pencils

• Small pencil sharpener

• Erasers

• Colored pencils

• Scissors

• Sticky notes

• 2 dry erase markers

• 2 glue sticks

Folders will be provided (please, no Trapper Keepers).  Please keep in mind that the items in the list are suggested, not required.  I will have supplies available in our classroom for those who need them.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Also, remember that you will need a pair of shoes for physical education.  These should be kept at school in your locker.
