Tomorrow, June 2, the 4th and 5th grade students in Hudsonville will head to the Baldwin Middle School athletic field for our annual field day!
The tug-o-war teams have been selected and every 4th and 5th grader has signed up for five events to participate in throughout the day.
You are welcome to join us for as much of the day as your schedule allows! 🙂
Our field day schedule is as follows:
9:20 – 10:00 Tug-o-war
10:00 – 10:25 Event #1
10:30 – 10:55 Event #2
11:00 – 11:25 Event #3
11:30 – 11:45 Tug-o-war
11:45 – 12:15 Lunch
12:15 – 12:40 Event #4
12:45 – 1:15 Event #5
1:15 – 1:45 Finals for 50 meter dash and tug-o-war
1:45 Head back to Georgetown
Please send your child with a water bottle, sack lunch (unless you ordered one from food service), and sunscreen. The weather forecasters are predicting a sunny day with a high temperature of 72.
Also, tennis shoes are a must and shirt color is important. Remember to wear the Hudsonville Field Day shirt that was purchased or a blue shirt for boys or a yellow shirt for girls.

Good evening, Parents!
Just a couple of reminders as we look ahead to our district-wide 4th and 5th grade field day on Tuesday, June 2. Shirt orders are due tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12. Your child is not required to have a field day shirt, but color is important to identify boys and girls from the two different grades.

Our annual Field Day is Tuesday, June 4, at the Hudsonville Eagle Stadium next to Baldwin Middle School. The following information will help students and parents prepare for this fun-filled day:
1. Students should wear their Hudsonville Field Day shirt or a shirt of the same color. Colors: 4th grade boys wear blue shirts; 4th grade girls wear yellow shirts.
2. Students must wear tennis shoes. Please do not send your child in sandals, crocs, etc. Gloves are allowed for students participating in the tug-o-war.
3. Students should pack a lunch. The only exception is if your child ordered a sack lunch from Food Service. Sorry, it is too late to add any extra sack lunch orders.
4. If students would like to bring a water bottle, please remember it is their responsibility to keep track of it.
5. Since it is supposed to be mostly sunny, sunscreen may be needed.
Parents, you are welcome to watch the events and/or eat lunch with your child on the football field.
