Ease into the Season Celebration!

On Friday, December 18, our focus in the afternoon is going to be on food, friends, and fun!  The plans are as follows:

Come comfortable.  Mrs. Reagan has declared this to be Holiday Spirit Week!  Friday is pajama or ugly sweater day, it’s your choice.

0025-0805-2817-2863_clip_art_graphic_of_a_cheese_pizza_slice_cartoon_character_in_the_center_of_a_christmas_wreath-1ed278xPolish off pizza.  I will provide two slices of pizza and Hawaiian Punch for each person.  Extra pizza will be available for $1.00 per slice.  Please send the money for the extra pizza by Thursday, so we will be sure to have enough pizza.  Students are welcome to supplement with other food as desired.

Enjoy entertainment.  All of the Georgetown fourth graders will gather in the library to watch a movie.  We are planning to show Shaun the Sheep.  Critics Consensus: Warm, funny, and brilliantly animated, Shaun the Sheep is yet another stop-motion jewel in Aardman’s family-friendly crown.” (click on link for more info: Rotten Tomatoes)  Please let me know if you would prefer for your child to not watch this movie and I will make other arrangements for him/her.

Sip, sing, and strategize.  downloadThe afternoon will wrap up with hot chocolate, Christmas music, and games.  Please pack your favorite card game, board game, and/or electronic game.

We are looking forward to easing into the season! 🙂

Pajamas and Ice Cream

It’s time for the students in our classroom to celebrate…twice! 🙂

We change our clocks on Sunday morning (Spring AHEAD).  In honor of daylight savings time, Mrs. Reagan has declared that tomorrow (Friday, March 8) is PJ Day at Georgetown.  What a great way to end the week!

Also, we are planning to have an ice cream sundae celebration for the consistently good choices made in and around our classroom!  I will be providing ice cream, chocolate, caramel, and sprinkles.  If your child would like to bring additional topping(s) for his/her sundae, they are welcome to do so.
