We are getting close to our annual Walk-A-Thon Event! This is our single money raising activity for our Parent Club.
We have set a goal of $25 for each child to raise….and understanding these tight economic times, know that we will take pennies, nickels, dimes and any amount you are willing to contribute. The money we raise goes for the support of family/child activities as well as all school events and materials that support learning in many ways.
The walking times and color assignments are as follows:
Wednesday, September 29th: 9:45 – 11:15: Morning ECSE, PK, K, 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades
Thursday, September 30th: 1:45 – 3:15: Afternoon ECSE, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade
Grade PK/K and ECSE: RED
Grade 1: PURPLE
Grade 2: YELLOW
Grade 3: BLUE
Grade 4: GREEN
Grade 5: ORANGE

Get your walking shoes ready! The 2010 Walk-A-Thon is just around the corner! This is the primary fundraiser for the school, so let’s step into it with both feet!
To make it easy for ALL students to join the fun, this awesome event will happen during the day on Wednesday, September 29th from 9:45-11:15.
Our goal is for ALL students to participate and strive for a personal goal of raising at least $25. Students who collect over $25 will win a special prize! They will also be entered into a raffle for even more exciting prizes! If our class raises more money than any other class, we will enjoy a pizza party! Everyone will receive water and a snack (nut-free and milk-free) for participating!
Please mark the following dates on your calendar:
September 28th – Completed donation forms and money need to be returned to school.
September 29th – Walk-A-Thon!
Mid October – Prizes will be awarded.
